PURE WORSHIP OF JEHOVAH RESTORED AT LAST! P 73

620: Babylon begins to dominate Jerusalem Nebuchadnezzar makes Jerusalem’s king a vassal

Issue

620 B.C.E would be the 9th year of Jehoiakim's rulership. You say this 9th year of Jehoiakim's rulership can be called the 1st year of Jehoiakim's rulership by adding the words 'AS A VASSAL OF BABYLON.' Please would you provide the scriptural support for the timeline 'Jehoiakim AS A VASSAL OF BABYLON.'
Jehoiakim became a vassal of Babylon in the 4th year of his reign, which was the 1st year of Nebuchadnezzar (Jeremiah 25:1-3). Around this time (the 3rd - 4th year of Jehoiakim) the prophet Daniel is taken into Babylonian captivity (Daniel 1:1-7, Daniel 2:1).

In 625 B.C.E., Nabopolassar’s eldest son, Nebuchadnezzar (II), defeated Pharaoh Necho of Egypt at the battle of Carchemish, and in the same year he assumed the helm of government. (Jer 46:1, 2) Under Nebuchadnezzar, Babylon was “a golden cup” in the hand of Jehovah to pour out indignation against unfaithful Judah and Jerusalem. (Jer 25:15, 17, 18; 51:7) In 620 B.C.E. he compelled Jehoiakim to pay tribute, but after about three years Jehoiakim revolted. In 618 B.C.E., or during Jehoiakim’s third year as tributary ruler, Nebuchadnezzar came against Jerusalem. (2Ki 24:1; 2Ch 36:6)

Issue

Jehoiakim was a vassal of Pharoah Necho. Nebuchadnezzar defeated Pharoah Necho at the battle of Carchemish in 625 B.C.E. After that battle Jehoiakim did not become an independent ruler but became a vassal of Babylon (2 Kings 24:7). But you say he did not become a vassal of Babylon until 620 B.C.E.
The battle of Carchemish took place in the 4th year of Jehoaikim (Jeremiah 46:1-2). The 4th year of Jehoiakim is the 23rd year of Jeremiah's preaching (Jeremiah 25:1-3). Therefore, for 3 years, from the 23rd year of Jeremiah's preaching until the 26th year Jehoiakim served Nebuchadnezzar (2 Kings 24:1) (625 B.C.E until 622 B.C.E.) Jehoiakim was obedient to Nebuchadnezzar. The final year of Jehoiakim's obedience, 622 B.C.E would be his 7th year of rulership. After this 7th year, Jehoiakim rebells against Nebuchadnezzar. Then for the remaining 4 years of his reign marauder bands of Chaldeans, Syrians, Moabites and the sons of Ammon attack him until the end of his 11 year reign (2 Kings 24:2). .
